Melody Claussen is no stranger to work at home jobs...but this is her first virtual job fair
"I am looking for a great way to make some money via my time." she says.
And the fair has met all of her expectations, making the application process as painless as possible.
"I came in and they helped me with my resume and got me registered on the site. Then I just showed up today." Claussen adds.
The application process is pretty easy. Jobseekers just simply upload their resumes and then send it to the employers they would like to work for.
"This is great, I'm real excited about this! Hopefully I can take these skills and look for something to supplement what I am currently doing." says Claussen.
Joshua Ball, manager of Kentucky Teleworks, says some people have already been contacted by possible employers.
"We received several emails from folks who have received emails and calls to set up interviews." he says.
And if you missed the opportunity to attend the virtual job fair, Ball says not to worry.
"People don't have to attend a job fair to be a part of this; they simply go to our website and fill out a brief registration form." Ball adds.
Then let the job searching begin. Ball plans on taking his virtual job fair on the road across Kentucky.
