A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday evening for most of Eastern Kentucky. Another round of heavy rain is likely early on Sunday and could lead to new high water problems. Remember if you come across a flooded road way to "Turn Around, Don't Drown!"
LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - Visitation was held for one of the three men killed in a helicopter crash Thursday night in Clay County.
Hundreds of people, including paramedics from all over the region, gathered at Hawk Creek Church in London to remember Herman "Lee" Dobbs.
Dobbs was a paramedic aboard an Air Evac helicopter that crashed Thursday night in Manchester.
He left behind his wife of 22 years and their three children.
Dobbs was a farmer and loved the outdoors, but the woman who knew him best says Dobbs was most passionate about his family.
“He was a wonderful father, a wonderful husband. He was a cute little farmer. He loved horses and horseback riding. He just loved life in general. He was full of life and he loved life,” Emilee Dobbs said.
Dobbs’ body will be transported to Church Hill, Tenn., and buried there.
