LOUISVILLE (WKYT) - A Western Kentucky University student has died after being shot over Thanksgiving weekend.
Friends of Cheryl Williamson, 24, say she returned home to Louisville for Thanksgiving break.
They say she was leaving a downtown nightclub early Sunday morning when she got into an argument with two men.
Williamson's friends say she was then shot in the chest. She was driven to University Hospital where they say she died during surgery.
Louisville police say they do not have any suspects in this latest homicide case.
Her friends say Williamson was set to graduate from Western in May.
