CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - More than 20 state agencies are expected to participate in a government job fair next week in Charleston.
The event is sponsored by the West Virginia Division of Personnel and WorkForce WV. It's set for Monday at the Culture Center on the Capitol Campus.
The fair will provide job seekers with information on state government employment opportunities, particularly in critical need fields such as nursing, social services, engineering, corrections and law enforcement, natural resources, environmental protection, human resources and information technology.
Personnel counselors will be available to answer questions about the job application process.
Organizers say job-seekers should bring their resume, proper identification and any other information they wish to share with potential agency employers.
