Water agreement between districts should be accepted soon

An agreement between two eastern Kentucky water districts is expected to be accepted by the public service commission.

Officials with the Green Hills Water District tell us the agreement will be signed on Friday.

The agreement, which will merge the Green Hills and Black Mountain Districts, was proposed after some customers in Harlan County went without water for more than 20 days.
