A well known Hazard businesswoman has died following a long battle with breast cancer.
Linda Sparkman died Saturday.
Sparkman was the lead designer and part owner of the Silk Purse Furniture and Interiors for more than 20 years.
She was known for her custom window treatments in several states and even did work for the University of Kentucky.
Visitation for Sparkman will be at 11 Tuesday morning at the New Hope Church in Hazard.
Her funeral is at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, also at the church.
Linda Sparkman was 55 years old.
