West Virginia hit and run case goes to grand jury

The case of a Wayne County, West Virginia man, accused of killing a woman in a hit and run, will head to the grand jury.

Police say 40 year old Jackie Hewlett hit and killed Candy Mallory back in July as she walked along U.S. 60 near Ceredo.

Police say they found Hewlett by collecting DNA belonging to Mallory from his car.

On Tuesday, a judge lowered Hewlett's bond from $50,000 to $25,000.
