Wind damages home in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, Ky. (WYMT/Harlan Daily Enterprise) - The wind is being blamed for damaging a home in Harlan County.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports a home in the New York section of Cumberland was hit by high winds Friday morning.

Meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Jackson told the paper a mountain wave, which is wind funneled into the valley from Black Mountain, is likely to blame.

No one was hurt.
