Woman killed in Floyd County crash

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A woman is killed in a crash in Floyd County.

It happened on Thursday, November 15, on Kentucky Route 3 in Prestonsburg.

State Police say 64-year-old Linda Stambaugh was killed when she exited the roadway in an attempt to make a U-Turn.

When she entered back into the westbound lane of Route 3 her car was struck by a Jeep.

The Floyd County Deputy Coroner pronounced her dead on the scene.
