Woman airlifted after collision near Somerset

SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A Southern Kentucky woman was hospitalized after a bad accident in Pulaski county.

It happened on Pine Hill Road about five miles east of Somerset. Police say 30-year old Brian Overby lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic. Overby was then hit by a car driving north bound.

The driver of that car,36-year old Tonya Wilcher was treated at the scene and then airlifted to UK Medical Center. There's no word yet on her current condition.
