Woman charged in connection with Letcher County murder will spend 15 years in prison

A woman charged in connection with the 2008 murder of Ralph Marcum will spend 15 years in prison.

Christina Collins pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence and the mishandling of a corpse earlier this year.

Last year, Steven Pigg pleaded guilty to complicity to tampering with physical evidence and John Pigg pleaded guilty to murder charges.

Both testified against Collins and said she was not involved in the actual murder and the murder charge against her was amended.
