Woman charged with animal cruelty after dogs seized from home

Police seized more than a hundred dogs from her home. Now, a woman faces dozens of animal cruelty charges.

Police arrested 58-year-old Patricia Blevins on Wednesday afternoon.

Police took the dogs from here Rowan County home earlier this month.

The Commonwealth's Attorney says Blevins was charged after veterinarians finished reports on all the dogs seized.

Blevins faces 46 counts in all.
