Woman is accused forging a judge's signature

A woman is in jail after police say she forged a Floyd County judge's signature.

Prestonsburg Police say 37 year old Mary Adkins of Pike County forged Judge Eric Hall's signature on a hardship license application at the Floyd County Courthouse.

Police say Adkins told them the judge was at lunch and she did not want to wait for him.

She is charged with felony forgery charges and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
