What was supposed to be a fun trip to the Four Star Village Pay Lake for dozens of Perry County Senior Citizens turned into a nightmare.
The group, which included some in their 80's and 90's, was there for a day of fishing when the flash flooding began.
Kim Boggs, the director of the Hazard-Perry County Senior Citizen's Center, had to be rescued by fish and wildlife conservation officers after being swept away.
The seniors were evacuated to a nearby home.
One was taken to the hospital just as a precaution.
We hope to talk to Boggs about her terrifying experience tonight at 11.
