Woman wanted on child abuse charges caught in Ohio

Police say a mother wanted in a severe child abuse case in Floyd County has been arrested in Ohio.

Police say 30 year old Rachel Ousley was caught Friday near Akron.

In January, Prestonsburg Police say her seven week old baby had severe head trauma and broken legs.

After she was arrested, police say she bonded out of jail and then disappeared after she was indicted.

Officials say she will have an extradition hearing in Ohio before coming back to Floyd County to face four counts of criminal abuse.

The baby's father, 35 year old Gary Hensley, was also indicted in the case and arrested earlier this year.

Officials say the baby has recovered and is in foster care.
