Wounded Congresswoman serves Thanksgiving dinner to troops

Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords marked another milestone in her recovery this Thanksgiving Day.

She helped serve dinner to troops at a Tucson military base in Arizona. This was the lawmaker's first constituent event since an attempt on her life in January.

Giffords and her husband, retired Navy Captain Mark Kelly, joined approximately 400 airmen, military retirees, and their families at an Air Force Base in her district.

This marks the Congresswoman's third trip to Tucson since the shooting. Giffords was shot in the head at a political event in January,

Six people died in that shooting spree.
