LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help to find two people they say are on their most wanted list.
The department started the list to help get the word out about suspects in recent crimes to help get them off the streets quicker.
Officials say, James M. Barlow was at a home on Gross Road in London while sheriff's deputies were responding to a complaint with social services.
"We found a meth lab. We found a child within 10 feet of an active meth lab. And while we were conducting our investigation he ran out on foot," said Gilbert Acciardo, the Public Affairs Deputy for the Laurel County Sheriff's Department.
Renee Jones and Denny Pressler both live in London and say they hope Barlow is caught soon.
"I don't want people like that around my children and I'm sure every other mother doesn't want that either," Jones said.
"I don't agree with anybody doing meth at all, especially around little kids," said Pressler.
Deputy Acciardo said that cleaning up the drug problem in Laurel County leads to other problems being solved.
"Burglaries are solved. Thefts are solved. DUI drivers up and down the roadways which contribute to severe traffic crashes," Acciardo said.
Police say they are also searching for Theresa M. Hall.
"She was actually at home on a home incarceration with an ankle bracelet, and this past friday she cut the ankle bracelet off and fled the scene," said Acciardo.
Police say they are optimistic Barlow and Hall will be arrested, especially with help from their most wanted facebook page.
"To date, everybody that we've ever put on our most wanted page has been arrested," Acciardo said.
Acciardo said that they need help from the public to find Barlow and Hall, because they have limited resources at the department.
Officials say Barlow has been on the run since April 2nd and Hall since April 5th.
