Woman killed in Laurel County crash identified

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - One person was killed Thursday in a three car accident near London.

It happened on U.S. 25, about four miles south of London just after 2:30 p.m.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, a driver heading north on Highway 25 pulled onto the shoulder to make a u-turn and collided with a second car heading north. A third car in the southbound lane was also hit.

Police say the passenger of the second car, Jennifer Stevens Scott from Hartford, was killed. Two other people were taken to the hospital after the crash.
