Southeast Kentucky tourism gets a boost

Updated: 07/29/2009 - Nearly $700,000 is heading to the mountains to help continue a push for tourism in Southeastern Kentucky. Congressman Hal Rogers' office announced the funding earlier this week. Local officials and the Southern and Eastern Kentucky Tourism Development Association (SEKTDA) say the money will be used to continue tourism efforts around the mountains.
