West Virginia Murder Suspect

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - State police say a man killed five
people at a northern West Virginia residence and later fatally shot
himself in Kentucky during a police pursuit.
Capt. James Merrill identified the victims as 49-year-old
Charles Richardson III, his wife, 49-year-old Karen Richardson, her
children, 17-year-old Kevin Hudson and 22-year-old Katrina Hudson,
and 30-year-old Robert Raber.
State police found the victims' bodies Monday at the
Richardsons' residence. Merrill says police believe all five
victims were shot with a high-powered rifle.
Hours after the slayings, the suspect, 22-year-old Shayne
Riggleman, shot and wounded an attendant at an Exxon station off
Interstate 79 in Roane County. Riggleman then traveled to Lewis
County, Ky., where he killed himself during a police pursuit.
