LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky fans may get a chance tomorrow to see guard Derrick Jasper play in a game for the first time this
Another guard Jodie Meeks may also be back in action.
Assistant coach Jeremy Cox says both practiced in limited roles
today. Cox says it will depend on how their bodies respond tomorrow
morning to determine whether they play.
Jasper is recovering from microfracture surgery on his knee.
Meeks has missed seven of the last eight games with a stress
fracture in his pelvis and a hip flexor.
The injuries to Jasper and Meeks have forced the Wildcats to
play inexperienced players in their place, with mixed results.
Kentucky snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over
Tennessee Tech last Saturday.
