Gemma Gray (Clay County) - 2 Games... 20 Points against Breathitt County. 16 Points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists against Belfry. She also went over 1,000 points for her career in a win over Rockcastle County on Monday.
Heather Sturdivant (Perry Central) - 1 Game... The Senior had 24 points against District foe Leslie County. In that game, she become the Commodore's All-Time leading scorer for both Boys and Girls and passed the 2,000 point mark for her career.
Patience Brewer (Sheldon Clark) - 3 Games... Brewer was consistently good all week long. On Tuesday she had 30 Points and 16 rebounds in a big win over Shelby Valley. She followed that up with 12 points and 9 rebounds against Magoffin County and 16 points and 18 rebounds against Tug Valley. For the week she averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds.
Brock Leisge (Cumberland) - The Senior point guard had an excellent week at the WYMT Classic. In 3 games he averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. He also came through in the clutch, knocking down 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter of his teams tight win over Pikeville.
Tate Cox (JBS) - The Sophomore preformed exceptionally in the WYMT Mountain Classic. Cox averaged 16.6 points, 4.3 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game. His clutch shooting earned him the WYMT Mountain Classic MVP.
Clark Stepp (JBS) - The Senior was a key reason the Crusaders captured their second straight WMYT Mountain Classic Title. Stepp averaged 23.3 points, 8.3 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 3 steals. Stepp was named to the All-Tournament team.
Josh Seidel (North Laurel) - The Jaguar continued to have the hot hand. Seidel scored 25 against Madison Southern and 31 against Dixie Heights.
Tyler Bourne (Somerset) - Bourne had a monster week for the Briar Jumpers. In the teams first game of the week against District opponent Rockcastle County Bourne had 21 points and 20 rebounds in Somerset's 78-66 win. In another District win on Friday the Senior went for 23 points and 12 rebounds against Casey County. Bourne completed the week with his third double-double on Saturday against rival Southwestern by scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
