Hazard dominated from the start and never looked back, winning 69-25. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-5 lead at the end of the first quarter. Hazard had a 14-0 run to close out the first.
The second quarter didn't go much better for the Rebels, they trailed 40-11 at the break, and set a record for fewest points scored in a half.
It was a total team effort for the Bulldogs. Thirteen different players scored for Hazard, led by Michael Campbell and Josh Whitaker's 11 point performances.
Chad Nelson led the Rebels with 7. Allen Central also set a new Mountain Classic mark by scoring only 25.
Hazard advances to face Knott County Central on Friday at 8:45. Allen Central will take on Johnson Central on Thursday in the Consolation Round on Thursday at 8:15.
