#4 Bobcats vs. #6 Briar Jumpers may be won in the trenches

JACKSON Ky. (WYMT) - One of the bigger games taking place across the coverage area is #4 Breathitt County taking on #6 Somerset.

The Bobcats are currently undefeated on the year with a 4-0 record, but so are the Jumpers. Somerset has a 3-0 record. These two met last season with Breathitt winning 20-0. But, where the game will be won and lost on Friday will be the battle on the line.

"Well that is what's going to be interesting. I'm glad I have had mine together a couple of game now, because they are going to need all that experience and things they can to match them", said head coach Bobcats Mike Holcomb.

"But down in there, its an intensity thing. Our kids are going to have to come intense and ready to play from the start. I told coach Lucas though, I need to check on this (Tevin) Slaughter boy. I believe its about his 6th year starting against us, so, but he is an excellent football player and really gets at it down inside."
