Tennessee dominated the Southeastern Conference during the regular season, so it was only appropriate that the Lady Vols cleaned up at awards time.
Sophomore Candace Parker was named player of the year on The Associated Press All-Southeastern Conference women's team, while Pat Summitt was honored as coach of the year.
Kentucky center Sarah Elliott was named to the second team, while her teammates Jennifer Humphrey and Samantha Mahoney received honorable mentions.
Georgia freshman Ashley Houts was picked as newcomer of the year.
Parker was one of three unanimous selections to the first team, joined by L-S-U center Sylvia Fowles and Mississippi guard Armintie Price.
