Patriot Ladies Move Up in Polls

The National Athletic Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) released their NAIA Division I Top 25 Poll on Monday, January 25th. The University of the Cumberlands Patriot Ladies moved from 13th to 12th tallying a total of 193 points.

This past week the women took on West Virginia Tech and Lindsey Wilson College in Mid-South Conference (MSC) action. The girls swept the MSC competition, beating West Virginia Tech 85-58 and Lindsey Wilson 60-51, leaving the women 2-0 on the week.

Currently, the women are 15-5 on the season and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. There are six Patriot Ladies averaging double digits each game and five Patriot Ladies who have scored over 200 points this season.

The Patriot Ladies will host the Lady Tigers of Campbellsville University, currently ranked 1st in the MSC and 9th in the NAIA, on Thursday, January 28th at 6:00PM. The women will then travel to take on University of Rio Grande on Saturday, January 30th at 2:00PM
