Today it finally happened... the much anticipated Major League debut of Pulaski County native Josh Anderson.

Anderson got the call on Thursday that he would join the Houston Astros in their series in Chicago. During the 6th inning of today's contest, Josh was involved in a double switch.

Josh pinch hit for starting pitcher Woody Williams. Unfortunately Josh went down swinging on a Michael Wuertz breaking ball.

In the 7th inning Josh made his first big league put-out, as he caught a fly ball off the bat of Chicago's Mark Derosa. Josh would have had another at bat in the 8th, but he was pinch hit for.

Josh ended the day 0-for-1 with a strike-out and a put-out.
