LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - University of Kentucky offensive guard
Jason Leger ("LEE-jer") has been named Southeastern Conference
offensive lineman of the week after the Wildcats' win over Kent
Leger graded 90 percent and had four knockdown blocks in the
Wildcats 56-20 victory Saturday.
The Wildcats' 56 points were the most they had scored in a
regulation game in five seasons. Leger, a graduate of Rockcastle
County High School, did not allow a sack against the Golden
The SEC also named Kentucky linebacker and defensive captain
Wesley Woodyard as a player who had an outstanding performance last
weekend. Woodyard had a team-high 15 tackles with a pass deflection
against Kent State.
