The UK Wildcats pulled off a dramatic come from behind victory over the Louisville Cardinals Saturday night, 40-34. The win over the 9th ranked Cards has vaulted UK into the Top 25.

The Cats enter this week ranked 21st in the AP and 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today Poll. It's the first time since the Tim Couch led team in 1998 was ranked 25th in the ESPN/USA Today on November 15th, 1998.

The last time UK was ranked in the A.P. poll was January 3rd, 1985. The Cats were listed 19th after their victory over Wisconsin in the Hall of Fame Bowl.

The win over Louisville ended a losing streak of 18 games to Top 25 teams and a 43 game losing streak to teams ranked in the Top 10.
