MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State athletic department is set for Saturday’s basketball doubleheader against Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Kentucky.

The first 500 fans in attendance will receive blue t-shirts from game sponsor St. Claire Regional Medical Center to support “Beat EKU Blue.” MSU students with their student ID will also be eligible for a chance to win one of two iPad minis courtesy of the Office of Student Life.

MSU student-athletes will be honored at halftime by OVC Commissioner Beth DeBauche. The academic recognition night will include members of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, Academic Medal of Honor recipients, Pioneer Football League Honor Roll and other top academic student-athletes.

The women’s team will tip-off at 5:15 p.m. ET, with the men to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.

This is the second meeting this season between the two institutions, as the Eagle women dropped a 62-52 decision on Jan. 12, and the men fell 59-52 in Richmond, Ky.
