CINCINNATI (AP) - Bengals offensive lineman Clint Boling will
make his first NFL start on Sunday in Cleveland, and he's got a lot
of inexperienced company.
Cincinnati is starting three rookies on offense - three of their
top four draft picks, in fact. Receiver A.J. Green was drafted from
Georgia in the first round, quarterback Andy Dalton from TCU in the
second and Boling from Georgia in the fourth round.
Boling gets his chance because right guard Bobbie Williams is
suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on
performance-enhancing substances. Boling started 19 games at right
guard for Georgia, where he played every line position except
center.
All those rookies will find out what it's like to try to
function in front of the Dawg Pound.
