Betsy Layne looking to replace key positions

BETSY LAYNE, Ky (WYMT) - As we continue our high school football interviews, WYMT received a visit from the Betsy Layne Bobcats Thursday. The Bobcats finished 7-4 last year and head coach Jonathan Parsons says despite the loss of play makers Austin Hall and Kory Jarrell, his team returns enough key pieces to make some noise heading into 2012.

"well, going into my sixth year, I think the offense really needed a change, especially with losing somebody like Corey and Austin, and with the quarterback coming back and the experience we got at receiver, I think the best thing for us to do is change up the offense and instead of going with a more run-oriented we're going to try to open up and play sideline to sideline."

Betsy Layne will begin their season on Saturday August 18th, as they go on the road to meet up with Bracken County.
