Posted: Thu 2:59 PM, Jul 19, 2012

Rising senior Marcus Bratton continues to rack up award after award recognizing his on field accomplishments. The most recent award is yet another preseason All-American honor, this time the award comes from USA College Football as a first team return specialist.

The preseason honor is the second for Bratton who was named to the Beyond Sports Network preseason All-American team earlier this summer. In its 20th year, USA College Football selects pre and postseason All-American teams for NAIA, NCAA Division III, NCAA Division II, NCAA D-1AA, FCS, and FBS divisions.

Bratton returned three kicks for touchdowns as a junior while ranking ninth nationally in return yards per return (27.3) en route to earning a spot on the first team All Mid-South East squad. The Roanoke, Virginia native currently holds UVa-Wise single season and career records for return touchdowns while ranking second in school history in average yards per return for his career.
