HAZARD Ky. (WYMT) - Friday night the Hazard Bulldogs will welcome in the Harlan Green Dragons.
This is the first district game for the two teams, so to start 1-0 in the district would be huge in terms of setting themselves up for the playoffs.
"This is the biggest game of the year is what we are telling them. Every game, every week you know we try to tell them that a little bit", said Bulldogs head coach Mark Dixon.
"But I think they understand, this is for home field. This is a big game, this is a big rivalry. You know, Harlan is going to come in here ready to play. They've got a couple of good receivers out there to get the ball to. They've got a good running back, a couple of good running backs to get the ball to. They are very balanced offensively. They are very tough to stop, and their quarterback makes them go."
