BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College softball team is slated to finish eighth according to the 2014 Appalachian Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, which was released on Wednesday.

Tennessee Wesleyan comes in third in ranking, followed by Milligan (Tenn.) (who also garnered a first place vote), Columbia (S.C.), Bryan (Tenn.) and Point (Ga.).
