Bulldogs Ink 20 For 2012 Squad

Union College Football Commitments

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union head football coach Tommy Reid recently announced the first round of commitments for the 2012 squad.

"We are very please to have these young men sign on with our program," said Reid. "We look forward to bringing him and help bolster our team as we seek bigger and better things next season."

To date, Union has landed 20 commitments with 11 coming from Kentucky, five from Tennessee, three from Georgia and one from Florida. The newcomers will help fill a variety of needs as four are defensive backs, four others linebackers, three offensive linemen, three running backs, two quarterbacks, two wide receivers and two defensive linemen.

Union went 2-9 overall and 1-6 in the Mid-South Conference West in 2011.
