Clay Co.'s Hyde to play for Team USA

Clay County lineman Jacob Hyde is well-known across the commonwealth. Just a few months ago that he gave his verbal commitment to the University of Kentucky.

Now Hyde will get to show his skills on an international level. Hyde was selected to the 45-man USA team in the International Federation of American Football U-19 World Championships in Austin, Texas. WYMT caught up with Jacob about the camp later this summer.

"The Team USA Camp is like a, it's not technically an all-star camp, they just pick the best kids all over the United States to play," says Hyde. "You play teams from Japan, Sweden, and other places like that, out of the country. It's a 17-day camp, and I'll be stationed in Austin, Texas. I'm excited about the Team USA Camp. That's the biggest thing this summer. And I got a Friday Night Lights Camp at UK, and I'm pretty pumped about it."
