Cluesman surpasses 1,000 points

Campbellsville, Ky. - Chelsea Cluesman scored her 1,000th career point but it was not enough as Campbellsville University posted a 73-64 victory at the Powell Athletic Center on Saturday. The victorious Tigers used ten made three point buckets while collecting 12 offensive rebounds for the school's second conference wins in three days.
On the day in which Cluesman scored her 1,000th career point, the senior from Jonesville, Virginia had the best day of her career. The forward scored 36 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and handed out four assists. Cluesman finished the game 15 of 19 from the field and six of seven from the free throw line. No other play scored in double digits for the Cavaliers in a game the team shot 51 percent.
With the win, Campbellsville improves to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Mid-South play. The loss drops UVa-Wise to 1-5 and 0-2 in league play. The Cavs will return to action on Tuesday when the team visits the University of Pikeville for a 6:00 p.m. tip. All of the action can be heard on www.uvawisecavs.com
