Commodores looking to get in to the win column

HAZARD Ky. (WYMT) - Last week the Perry Central Commodores fell to the Prestonsburg Blackcats by the score of 27-24. This week, they turn their attention to #10 Johnson Central.

The Golden Eagles may have lost JJ Jude to graduation, but now the Commodores will have to prepare themselves for a more traditional Golden Eagles offense with the three back belly set.

"You know, it's responsibility football", said head coach Justin Haddix. "You have to take care of the dive, you have to take care of the second back, you have to take care of the quarterback. Their quarterback was a first year starter last year, and they have him back now, so he is a little bit more confident running the football. Up front, they are big again, really strong. We have to take care of our key and meet it in the mouth, meet it downhill."
