HAZARD Ky. (WYMT) - The Perry Central Commodores will hit the road for the second time in three weeks as they will meet up with the Clay County Tigers in the B&W Resources Appalachian Bowl Friday Night.
Perry Central is coming off of two losses which went down to the wire. And this week, they know they will have their hands full once again with the Tigers.
"You know, Clay County can run the football", said Commodores head coach Justin Haddix. "They have big lineman up there, hey have a good running back, good quarterback, a receiver who can catch it. You know it is going to be a big task for us defensively to try to stop them. Then on defense, they have those same guys that are playing that are coming after you. So, they are really athletic, big athletics group. And we have our hands full."
This Friday night, WYMT will air our Appalachian Wireless game of the week. Beginning at 6:30pm, we'll have coverage of the game between the Perry Central Commodores and the Clay County Tigers. Following that game will be the #8 Knox Central Panthers taking on the #9 Johnson Central Golden Eagles. That game will on wymtnews.com only and then tape delayed on Saturday at 8pm on WYMT.
