Cousins suspended one game

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended one game by the NBA for striking O.J. Mayo in the groin area Monday night.

Cousins will serve his suspension tonight when the Kings visit Milwaukee.

Cousins scored 25 points in the game in Dallas. The incident occurred with 3:35 remaining in the second quarter of Sacramento's 119-96 loss

Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations announced the suspension.
