After nine years as the host of ESPN's Cold Pizza and First Take, former WYMT sports reporter Jay Crawford will be leaving the program.
Crawford got the call up, as he will be the new anchor of SportsCenter. He will begin his SportsCenter rotation on July 9th and will work the noon to 3pm shift. Thursday will be his final broadcast with First Take. The show begins at 10am and will air on ESPN News.
Crawford began his career with WYMT back in 1987 and is the creator of (Appalachian Wireless) Sports Overtime.
