ROCK HILL, SC -- Lincoln Memorial University's Dayshalee Salaman was named the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.
This marks the second time this season that Dayshalee Salaman has received this honor.
Salaman led the Lady Railsplitters to two wins with a couple of impressive offensive performances this past week. On Wednesday, Salaman scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to catapault LMU past the Brevard College Tornados, 64-51. She added to her resume with 26 points and nine rebounds in a dominant victory over the Anderson University Trojans on Saturday evening.
She rounded out the scoresheet as she averaged 3.5 assists in the two games and went a perfect 9-9 from the charity stripe.
Salaman is leading the Lady Railsplitters and the South Atlantic Conference in scoring at 21.3 points per contest.
The Lady Railsplitters will be back in action on Wednesday evening, as they travel to Carson-Newman College and looked to build on their two-game winning streak. That game is set to tip at 6 p.m.
