LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky true freshman punter Landon Foster has been honored as Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards, based on his efforts vs. Mississippi State on Saturday.
Foster punted eight times for a 43.8-yard average. He had four punts of 50 yards or longer, including a career-best 56-yard boot. He also dropped three punts inside the MSU 20-yard line.
Foster, from Franklin, Tenn., has been chosen Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards three times this season, also for the Louisville and Kent State games.
