LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football coaching staff reeling in yet another commitment for the class of 2014 Tuesday afternoon.
Four star offensive lineman Nick Richardson out of Westerville, Ohio giving his verbal commitment to the Wildcats. Richardson is rated as the No. 19 offensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com and held offers from Michigan State, West Virginia, and Vanderbilt among others.
Richardson becomes the seventh four star recruit to commit to Kentucky in the class of 2014, joining players like Drew Barker, Mikel Horton, Stanley 'Boom' Williams, and Thaddeus Snodgrass, making it 10 total four star recruits for Stoops at UK. Former head coach Joker Phillips signed one four star player per year, while Rich Brooks signed nine total in six seasons in Lexington.
With the addition of Richardson UK now has the third ranked recruiting class in 2014 according to Rivals.com.
