LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Kentucky head coach John Calipari holding his annual pro camp in Lexington this week, inviting several former players to help teach the youngsters the fundamentals of basketball.
One former player in attendance is Archie Goodwin, who will play his rookie season with the Phoenix Suns alongside another former wildcat, Eric Bledsoe, who was traded this off season from the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I've talked to (Eric Bledsoe) a few times. I know he's been busy, just as well as I have. It's going to be a great opportunity for me, being under a guy who's played (at the University of Kentucky), so we already have that bond going," says Goodwin. "I know he's a competitor, as well as I am, so I know we're going to make things happen. Two young guards; I'm a rookie, he's been here a little longer, obviously, but he has things that he can teach me and I'm all ears for everything because I know he's not going to tell me anything wrong."
