MARTIN Ky. (WYMT) - The Piarist Knights are the next team up in our DQ Grill and Chill countdown to tip off series.

After 3-18 season last year, the Knights are looking to turn things around this season. With three players already averaging double figures this season, the Knights hope their offense can carry them through the year.

"It is so hard, I mean, as a coach you want your players to love the game, to love it as much as you. You want them to watch basketball", said head coach Kevin Tackett. "You want them to really love it and really set goals as players and try to accomplish those goals. And, it would mean a lot."

"Last season, we didn't get as many wins as I hoped, but I mean, it is a learning process for us", said sophomore guard Michael Williams. "We are still kind of young and I think it is a good first step for us."

"We have a bunch of shooters, Michael Subhash, myself included", said sophomore forward Tyler Stumbo. "So, our offense is actually going to be very good this year."
