CORBIN Ky. (WYMT) - We continue with our DQ Grill and Chill countdown to tip off as we visit with the Lynn Camp Wildcats.
The Wildcats were only 3-24 last season, but things look bright this season for the Wildcats. With three seniors returning on this team, Lynn Camp will look to put themselves back on the map over in the 13th region.
"We have to understand the things it takes to win basketball games. Once we win one or two, sky is the limit of what we can do", said head coach Clyde Dixon.
"We are trying to run a new offense. We will be a lot faster than last year. I think that is going to help us out a lot. We are starting to get in to shape a little bit", said senior Chase Turner.
"We can win the Bowman. I think we can have a good run in the All "A'" and in region. And win district", said junior Justin Hammonds.
"This year, we just know each other more. And, we were slow last year, so we have been working our agility and our conditioning so, we will be a faster team this year", said senior Zach Smith.
"I think we can win district, for sure, and the Bowman Memorial, and hopefully make it to region", said sophomore Skylar McFarland.
