High school basketball preview: South Floyd Lady Raiders

HI HAT Ky. (WYMT) - The South Floyd Lady Raiders are the next team up in our DQ Grill and Chill countdown to tip off series.

The Lady Raiders come in to the year with a completely different roster after losing five seniors to graduation last year, including the 15th region player of the year Kiana Hall.

"It will definitely be a rebuilding, starting over year for us. We have, right now we have one senior, and two freshmen and some middle school kids that are going to play. I like their effort, I like the way they play" said head coach Tony Isaac. "They try to do everything I tell them, and that is all you can ask for as a coach."

"It's a lot different having all of our big players gone", said senior forward Kaitlin Bates. "It's going to take work this year."
