Kentucky All-Stars Will Scrimmage Juniors at Dunbar High School

(Louisville, KY)—The Kentucky High School Boys and Girls Senior All-Stars will scrimmage the Junior All-Stars Tuesday, June 5th at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, 1600 Man O’War Boulevard. The girls’ game begins at 6 p.m. and the boys’ game will follow. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

The 2012 All-Star game is scheduled for Friday, June 8th in Freedom Hall. The girls’ game begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys’ game at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $19 and are available at Ticketmaster.com.

The Kentucky Lions All-Star Basketball Classic has matched the best Kentucky high school players against the best Indiana players since 1940, producing a rich history and intense rivalry. It is the longest running all-star game in the country.

Profits from the game and scrimmages benefit the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.

The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, located in Louisville Kentucky, is a non-profit organization with the mission to prevent and cure blindness by supporting eye research, operating eye clinics, eye screenings and eye banks.
